Education Justice for Peace Inc. (EJP) is a nonprofit education organization dedicated to empowering lives through education justice, dignity, and compassion. We believe education is more than personal achievement — it is a powerful force that builds stronger, inclusive communities rooted in love, respect, and peace.
Founded by award-winning educator and Harvard graduate Shamser Sarder, EJP was established to address the urgent educational and social needs of immigrant families and low-income communities in Boston and beyond. Our programs integrate academic support with community empowerment to ensure that no one is left behind.
Free Educational Support: Offering ESL classes, math tutoring, and critical thinking programs for children, youth, and adults.
Teacher & Parent Training: Building equitable, child-centered learning environments that uplift families.
Peacebuilding & Anti-Extremism: Promoting compassion, dialogue, and respect as sustainable alternatives to hate and division.
Civic Empowerment: Delivering resources on civic rights education, tax & law awareness, and community guidance to help families thrive.
Community Engagement: Organizing cultural, creative, and educational programs that strengthen unity and provide vital knowledge.
Youth & Family Leadership: Encouraging intergenerational leadership, service, and career readiness programs for the next generation.
We hold that “Man is for man.” Education is not just about personal success — it is the foundation for creating a society where every individual is respected, every voice is valued, and every community can flourish.
